3D City Basic Model

Data Sources used:

  • City plans with scale 1:10 000 or 1:25 000
  • Satellite images QuickBird, Ikonos, Orbview, Spot5 with 0.6-2.5 m resolution

The heights of buildings in city and heights of a vegetative cover are determined on the basis of processing of middle-resolution stereo pairs of satellite images.

3D Stereo Model

Data Sources used:

  • City plans with scale 1:10 000 or more accurate, Ground Control Points collected by precise GPS-receiver
  • Stereo pairs of satellite images EROS B, Ikonos, WorldView 1, GeoEye 1 with 0.5-1 m resolution or aerial photos

The heights of buildings in city and heights of a vegetative cover are determined on the basis of processing of higy-resolution stereo pairs.

3D City Model overview

Projection: Universal Transverse Mercator, spheroid International WGS84, the Baltic system of heights or any other on your request

Layers available: DTM, DEM, Land Use Maps (Clutters), Vectors, Text labels, Building Heights Model, Orthoimage, Raster maps

Resolution: from 2 to 5 m

Clutter Model includes 16-20 classes: 10 classes of built-up-areas, 3 water classes, 7 classes of landscape and vegetation

Vector Model includes 9 classes: buildings contours, different types of roads, railways, coast lines of rivers and lakes, small rivers and canals, airports, vegetation contours.
