Galantis, Inc. Announces GEM/Frame 2.1, Support for IBM DB2 Content Manager

COSTA MESA, Calif., December 7, 2006 – Galantis has announced the availability of GEM/Frame 2.1, its flagship application development framework. The release includes integration with IBM's content repository implementation, IBM DB2 Content Manager 8.3.

GEM/Frame, or Galantis Enterprise Management Framework, is a high-level, platform-independent integration framework developed by Galantis as a toolkit for rapid delivery of ECM and business process automation solutions.

“Adding IBM DB Content Manager as an available choice further strengthens GEM/Frame's positioning as an enterprise application development platform for Galantis and its clients,” said Alex Dubovik, Galantis CTO. “The promise of platform independence, on which GEM/Frame is based, is important to our clients. GEM/Frame allows Galantis to rapidly develop content and business process management applications for a variety of industries and verticals and has been successfully tested with such technologies as FileNet P8, Apache Jackrabbit and JBoss jBPM. Recent enhancements to GEM/Frame's architecture have added a rich web services level, allowing for incremental integration driven by business requirements - a concept known as the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

GEM/Frame is the foundation for Galantis' popular GEM/AP offering aimed at automating a broad range of Accounts Payable business processes.
